in Los Angeles.  His record and life experiences speak for themselves.  Mr. Mehta began his legal career as a public defender for the territory of American Samoa.  He left his mark on the South Pacific isle by causing the expulsion of a brutally violent prison guard, creating the territory’s first Juvenile Parole Board, and shining light on the prison’s illegal and inhumane treatment of its inmates.  After losing his home to a hurricane, Mr. Mehta returned to Los Angeles, where as an associate, he assisted in such varied projects as the defense of the nation’s single largest FTC false advertising case and the defense of companies such as Toyota and U.S. Silica Co. against product liability and toxic tort suits, to successfully representing a low income family against a major insurance company.

In March, 2007, Mr. Mehta made the leap to start his own law office.  His goal was to create an office where he could take on projects which interested him and choose his clients.  He has never looked back.
