Jessica D. Lew
Ms. Lew joined the firm in May 2010, after working in both plaintiff and corporate defense firms in Los Angeles. Originally from Hawai`i, Ms. Lew worked for the late Congresswoman Patsy T. Mink, as well as the Hawai`i State Senate as a legislative researcher prior to attending law school at the University of Southern California. For over eight years, Ms. Lew has developed extensive litigation and trial experience in both federal and state courts, representing plaintiffs and small businesses in civil rights and consumer actions, as well as corporate defendants in class actions and other commercial litigation. In addition to her civil litigation practice, she has trained at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University's School of Law, and provides private mediation services, as well as pro bono mediation services for Los Angeles and Orange County's courts. Prior to becoming law partners, Mr. Mehta and Ms. Lew were colleagues for more than 11 years.
